The first official event of TransWeek 2026 is the annual Opening Night Meet and Greet reception. After a long day of travel, relax with your old friends and meet your new ones on Sunday evening, October 18th, beginning at the Shipwreck lounge, located at 10 Carver Street, around 6:30 pm for a happy hour. Around 7:30 pm head around the corner to the Crowne Pointe, 82 Bradford Street. Come dressed formally, come dressed casually, come dressed as a guy, or come dressed as a girl, or as your gender fluid self. Just come by; there will be hors d’oeuvres and a full bar.
TransWeek organizers and the first-timers Welcome Team of ambassadors will be on hand to introduce themselves and be available to answer questions. Mingle with your new friends by introducing yourself to anyone and everyone!
This event is exclusively for registered attendees, so do not forget to wear your attendee badge.
