Let’s come together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its founding and the first full day of TransWeek 2024 with the organizing committee and fellow attendees. We have a lot to be proud of and what better way to celebrate than with a good old-fashioned dance and socializing. Come dressed in your favorite dance shoes or outfit and get ready for a classic Provincetown tea dance just for us. The renowned resident DJ, Maryalice, will be spinning the first song of an electrifying set. This celebration is at the home of Provincetown’s biggest dance party, the Boatslip. Its legendary Tea Dance has been an important part of Provincetown for almost fifty years and is a “must-do” for first-timers and seasoned visitors alike. As part of the evening’s festivities, we will commemorate TransWeek’s fifty years of gender diversity with an anniversary cake cutting ceremony, and an assortment of sweets, snacks, and a full bar.
